Ohio’s Executive Branch includes the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Auditor of State, Secretary of State, Treasurer of State, State Board of Education, the governor's cabinet, and boards and commissions whose members are appointed by the governor.

State Board of Education

Ohio's State Board of Education is made up of 19 members, 11 who are elected and eight who are appointed by the governor. There are 11 State Board of Education Districts in Ohio. These districts are comprised of Ohio Senate Districts.
